This custom ring is one that is simply charming and timeless with a modern appeal. The traditional round center stone is emphasized by its graceful halo and off set by two matching rounds adding symmetry and size to the ring. It was our clients wish to use a diamond from her original wedding ring, so it was incorporated in one of the side diamonds. Both white and yellow gold were used giving it a contemporary feel, while holding on to the vintage look our client wanted. Any finger would be lucky to be wearing this ring! This is another custom design created at the House of Diamonds. During the process, the thought of “weaving” the old ring with a new ring to become one was desired. This is shown throughout the band, as you can see the two bands intricately intertwined with each other. The beautiful blue sapphires were an important part of the design because as a child, her mothers ring had sapphires. The halo around the center stone is absolutely stunning! One fascinating thing about this design is that each diamond within the halo are from gifts her husband has given to her throughout their relationship. Overall, this ring was probably one of the most meaningful that we at the House of Diamonds have gotten to help design. After a dear friend’s father had passed, we were asked to create an air tight vessel to contain and protect his ashes. We were honored to be chosen for a task so near and dear to his heart, so we did some of our most meaningful custom work yet. The artwork in the center reflects their love for the Tropics, which was a huge part of their father-son relationship. Custom engraving was added to showcase his father’s name and how his friends and family saw him. A heavy leather cord supports this memorial as a necklace and assures my friend has his father with him at every moment.
